This guide will rank vaporizers only after we've tested them. Until then, it lists the models on our bench and the questions that matter for a buyer in Canada.

What to compare

  • Heating method: conduction, convection or a mix. It affects heat-up time and how evenly material heats.
  • Temperature control: preset steps or exact degrees, and whether the set temperature matches what we measure.
  • Canadian warranty and service: who repairs it in Canada and how long the warranty runs here.
  • Cleaning and parts: how long cleaning takes, and whether screens and seals are sold in Canada.
  • Safety notices: we check Health Canada's recalls database for every model.
